Nothing to See Here!

Whilst I have been crafting, most of it is for things that have yet to be made public so you're going to have to wait a while to see anything!

With that, I'm giving myself this week and next week off blogging!  See you all in a fortnight!

(In the summer I prefer to be out on my bike rather than in the craft room!)

Baking

No sewing today as everything I'm working on is either a secret or for a future project, so instead please admire my rather messy meringues and elderflower jam!

Birthday Beads

My Lil Sis had a birthday so I made her a little gift!

I had a lot of fun picking out colours to make the pattern!

I backed it with a scrap of pink fleece and used a pretty patterned ribbon to hang it up.

My Little Pony Dress

When you know someone who loves MLP and has a birthday, well...  A Pony Party Frock is clearly the perfect gift!

I paired the pony fabric with a purple cotton and added white buttons and a purple satin ribbon!

My Birthday Cake

Quite pleased with how this turned out!

It's an ombre three tier vanilla sponge, covered in buttercream.  I loved making it and I also enjoyed eating it!

Needle Felt Cupcake

I made this cupcake kit up the other day!  I think it's so cute!

It took me about an hour and I thoroughly enjoyed making it!

Surprise Post

I don't know about you all, but I love surprise post!  So I thought my furthest away pseudo-niece, might as well!

I made her a dressing up dress (Lizard isn't the only rainbow fairy princess I know!) and an everyday version and bundled them up and sent them off.

The everyday dress is a forget-me-not poly cotton print, with wooden buttons and a cream satin waist ribbon.

The dress up frock is pink satin, with a rainbow organza over skirt, a lilac waist ribbon and a silver neck ribbon.

I was lucky enough to be sent a video of them being opened and I can safely say they were very well received!
