Trivets

This was a suggestion for a good friend of mine from his lovely other half, so I hope he likes them!

 They are all made with grey cotton drill quilted onto two layers of old towels.  The letters are cut from cotton or linen scraps.

 

They are bound with cotton bias binding and have a satin ribbon loop so they can be stored by hanging them on a hook.

 I really like them and they were a lot of fun to make!  It's also a very good recylcing use for towels that have run out of life as an actual towel.
