Inspired by the cooler weather we've had recently I have once again turned to knitting. Lizard picked out this super pretty arcylic yarn in Poundland, I found a pattern and away I went!
The pattern is Accidental Girly Mitts and the yarn is Double Knit Essentials. I think they are so pretty!
I really enjoyed knitting these (so much so that I even bothered trying to match up the stripes!).
The next project on my knitting needles is a cowl in the same yarn. I'll let you know if I ever finish it!

Hat for Ossia
As I can't wear a hood when in Ossia's antlers, I made a hat to keep my head warm instead!
I used this pattern, but on bigger needles in chunky yarn, as I have a big head!
The antler headband pokes though the knitting beautifully and it keeps my head super snuggly! Very pleased with it and longing to play Ossia again as a result.

Shawl!
I finished a knitted thing in less than a year! I bought the yarn and pattern for this at the Knitting and Stitching Show last October and I have enjoyed slowly working on it over the winter and the spring.
The yarn is Stylecraft Alpaca Tweedy Chunky. I really liked the pinky red the pattern illustration is knitted in but sadly I look awful in that colour so I plumped for this pretty blue instead!
It's lovely and snuggly and I really enjoy wearing it! I just need a pretty shawl pin to complete the look now...
