Larp Pouch

One last Christmas present!

I ran up a little velvet pouch for a friend.  It's lined in purple cotton and I embroidered the V with purple silk thread.

Tiny Sock Snowman

Lizard had a Christmas party and at it we made sock snow men!

This is my little chappie!  I really enjoyed making it and had a lovely time at the party!

Christmas Day Dress

I like to have something new to wear on Christmas day and I couldn't manage to find anything I liked in the shops this year, so I made my own instead!

This is a slightly modified version of Simplicity 1251.  It's made of purple sparkly lightweight jersey.

 I omitted the hood and used the extra droopy sleeves, because I like them!

I also rounded out the neckline as I didn't like the v without the hood.

I had a great Christmas and despite not feeling my best I loved how I look in this dress!

Little Hoodies

Excuse the awful pictures, I was clearly too busy sewing to remember to take any more!

 These were Christmas gifts for two small people and I'm so pleased they fit well!  I got the pattern as a digital download from Etsy (from this seller)

The main fabric is a jersey and the contrast is t-shirting.  I really enjoyed this pattern and I'm hoping to make a few more this year!

Project Bags

Yep, still on Christmas gifts (I think this is the last week though)!  I made a couple of friends a project/makeup bag each.

 This one is black faux brocade and lined in green cotton with a grey zip.

This one is purple cotton, lined in cream and with a purple decorative zip.  Fairly simple construction but I enjoyed making pretty things for friends!

Beaded Hoop Art

I made this for a friend who adores all things beaded.

It's a mixture of seed beads, some bigger beads and some sew in gems.  I backed it with felt and added a green satin ribbon to hang it on.

 This was such a super fun thing to make!  So, I forsee more of these in the future!

Waistcoats!

Yup, we're still on Christmas crafting!  (The end is in sight though, fear not!)

I made a couple of friends a velvet waistcoat each as a Christmas gift.

The first one is dark green velvet and lined in green as well.  It's got gold buttons and gold D rings to adjust the back.

 The other is blue velvet lined with black and it has brass buttons and D rings.

 Both waistcoats have a patch pockets bit enough for a fob watch and I really enjoyed making them!

Small Person Dress Up - Wings and Lion

Apologies, I don't have many photos of these.  I was working up to a deadline and I forgot to snap pics in my hurry to be done!

First up, I made a set of wings for a dress up set for a little one who loves birds.  They are a fleece base and I cut out oval shapes to make wings and layered them up.  I made elastic straps on the other side for Littley to pop her wings on.

This is a tabard, made of gold crushed velvet.  It has a hood with fur trim and little tiny ears and a long tail so Littley can be a lion.
