I need a folder to keep all of my paperwork in order. So I painted one and comissioned Katy to make me some decals for it!
I love how my painting turned out! I was so worried it looked silly and then I put the outline on and now I adore it!
And check out my adorable new file dividers! I cannot wait to get organised!

Scrap Bunting!
Yes I made tiny bunting for Mr Kit. Is anyone really surprised?!
I had some purple bias binding so I used that to string it onto.
I didn't fussy cut the skulls, due to wanting to use as much of the fabric as I could!
I really like how it turned out and I can't wait to see it at the allotment!

A Late Valentine's
I bought Mr Kit some fabric on a whim for Valentine's and last week I finally made good on my promise to make him a cushion!
It's a plain cover with an envelope back, nothing exciting. That said it looks good next to a similar cushion I bought him for Christmas and my sofa is definitely developing a new theme!
I'm trying to be better about using up scraps so next week you can see what else I made!

Button Flowers
Katy and Lizard came round last week to make a super cute craft that we've been admiring at our friend's house for a while now. Button flowers!
These are so simple a 3 year old can make them (our three year old decided she preferred arranging them instead though!).
Simply arrange a pile of 2 of 3 buttons to your liking then push a wire through them and twist it closed.
We put ours into pepper mills but you could just use a vase!
It's excellent colour play and a great way to use up odd buttons if, like us, you have a supply of such things!
My vase is now sitting on my coffee table and I smile every time I see it!

Get Well Soon Patches
My Gran has been in hospital recently and as I live a ways away I sent her some daft patches, to cheer her up!
This one is sewn in varigated thread and says Super Gran! (It's annoyingly hard to read.)
The bee is a free embroidery file I found somewhere (sorry, I forget where, I wasn't at my best when I was making these) and I love it!
Thankfully Gran is back at home now. Love you Granny x

Homemade Chocolates
Not all my crafts go to plan! We had a go at homemade chocolates and the results were tasty, but not particularly photogenic!
That said, someone enjoyed making and taste testing!

Valentine's Roses
I also ran up a basket of roses to give to people at the Valentine's game which was a lot of fun! I reused the roses I made as set dressing for the Alice in Wonderland photoshoot last year.
I made half a dozen stems and the rest into brooches and hair clips. Below you can see my assistant modelling a hair clip!
I didn't manage to hand out as many as I would have liked, but I had a lot of fun making them so... Ah well!
