Garden News!

I just wanted to share the new growth my this rose I'm growing!

Keep your fingers crossed for me that it continues to grow please!

Fairy Teepee

Look what appeared in my garden!

I wonder if we'll see any more evidence of fairies as the summer arrives? :D

Garden Pretties

The garden is in full on grow mode right now and I'm loving it!

It's hard not to spend all day just wandering out there and staring in amazement at my plants!

Elderflower Cordial

For the first time ever this year I made my own elderflower cordial!

My cousin was visiting so we went for a bimble along the canal together and picked many, many elderflower heads.

I added the lemons, oranges, sugar, water and citric acid and left it to work it's magic, then 24hrs later I had this!

Lovely bottles of a drink that smells like summer!

And here it is, a lovely summer drink!

Decorating in the Garden!

As I believe I have mentioned previously, I'm spending a lot of time in the garden recently.  We have such a pretty garden and I spend nearly as much time on pinterest looking at ways to add even more prettiness to it both through planting and through garden art.

One of the ideas I've liked a lot is an old key mobile and having some unexpected free time the other day (plus a load of old keys, some twine and a handy tree branch), I made this!

I'm sorry it's hard to see, but I rather like how it fades in.
