Gift Purse

The last of my online swap gifts - I made a teeny rainbow dragon purse, beacuse, well, why not?

It's blue satin and lined in white cotton lawn with a nazy zipper!

Lizard was super impressed that it matched her new 'rainbow dollshouse blanket' (an offcut from another project I'll show you another time!).

Gift Pouch

Another gift from ym online swap! 

It's a machine embroidery I got from etsy and I added the name myself.

The outer is black cotton drill and the inner is red lining fabric.  The zipper is black and I'm really pleased with it!

Birthday Dress In 3!

What Katy really wanted for her birthday was to have a dress that matched me and Lizard.  Obviously I obliged!

Matchy Matchy!  We love a bit of matching!

The fabric is a delightful t-shirting print and I still have some leftovers, so there will be some more items made from it!

Katy's dress has a cross over bodice and is fully lined as are the sleeves.  It has a circle skirt and hemming it took as long as making the entire bodice!

 Lizard's dress has a t-shirt style bodice, which is lined and t-shirt sleeves which are not.  It's skirt is a gathered rectangle and it has a ribbon waistband.

 I am so in love with these dresses!

I totally failed to get a photo of mine, so you will have to wait to see it on another day!  But mine has a t-shirt bodice and a 2/3 circle skirt and is unlined.

Don't we all look amazing?

Faux Enamel

It's amazing what you can do with nail polish and a twist of wire, isn't it?

These little flowers take a while to make, but they are so very pretty when they are done, don't you think?

Oh the possibilities!

New Pouch

A lot of my Luthaisea's Kit fittings take place out and about, so I decided to make myself a bag to hold my bits and pieces so I have things to hand!

It has a gold faux silk lining and the embroidery is an old practise piece I made ages ago.  It's great to put it to use!

I used a red zip and practised adding neat ends of fabric to the zip stops.  It makes a lovely neat finish!

I have plans to make a little covered notebook to go inside and it already has a pencil, tapemeasure and packet of pins in it, already to go!

Dr Who Bag

I made this for an online gift swap!  I do love a bit of bag making!

It's made of cottong drill and is unlined.  The embroidery is a free pattern I found online and done by hand.

 It took a while, but I really enjoyed making it!

Unicorn Hood

I made this for a friend's birthday - as you can see, she was quite pleased with it!

It's Choly Knight's free unicorn hood pattern and I made it in pink fleece with a white t-shirting lining, white buttons and purple and yellow flowers to decorate.

I really like how it turned out and one of my rainy day ideas is to adapt it and make myself a deer hood!
