I know a lot of people who like Unicorns. Handily for me they also all seem to be into faux taxidermy.
So I've made another Unicorn head!
This one is all sweet and cute and pretty in pink. Check out next week's blog for a different sort of Unicorn!

Tiny Christmas Owls
Hullo! I hope you're all having a lovely winter holiday time. Now that Christmas has come and gone I can start showing you some of the things I've made as presents!
First up, I made some tiny Origami Owls and filled them with lavender to be cute lavender sachets!

I have been busy crafting Christmas-y things!
One of the many good bits about the new house is the space to have not one but two Christmas trees! They have been nicknamed bling tree and traditional tree!
I've also baked a lot of these beauties recently, which have been very popular. So much so that I will be making more as the week goes on. In the meantime, I hope your preparations for the festive season are going well and you are all well and happy!

Not Sewing!
My sewing time seems more limited recently and what time I have is devoted to madly stitching for Christmas, so no new projects to show off. However, I now live in what could pass for the countryside and a couple of weeks ago a friend came to visit and we went exploring along the canal, so why don't you enjoy a few pics from that whilst I go back to sewing? Hopefully I'll find time for a project I can share next week!
We were very lucky with the weather, but I am so pleased to have moved somewhere I can mooch along the canal when I'd like to get away from town for a little while!
We found Shetland Ponies! |
Beautiful boats! |
Check out this crane! I was fascinated by it! |
A pretty bridge |
The canal looking peaceful. |
Is this a weir? |

New T-shirt and Skirt - Quick Projects For My Work Wardrobe
Ages a go a ripped a pair of jeans which instantly got put aside for a skirt and just recently all my t-shirts seem to have died, so I need some more for work!
The t-shirt is my beloved Alabama Chanin modified pattern made of some super lovely fabric I got in Germany. For the skirt, I added gores at various points to make it a-line.
And behind my is my swanky new dresser! Get used to seeing it because I think it could become my new photo posing place! Also please excuse my slightly messy look - these photo's were snapped quickly, in between cooking by my obliging beloved for me and I didn't so much as have time to run a brush through my hair, but I wanted to have something to show you all...
