It's a good friends birthday today and here's a quick pic of what I made her!
It's a sash that reads 'Captain' ready for our up coming pirate themed larp weekend away! I figure, even if she doesn't make captain, she can attempt to hand it over ic to whoever does.
The sash is made of pink poly satin and the word is spelt out in a heart print cotton. I interfaced the poly satin to make it stiffer and then stitched it all together.
It was quite a fun sew actually, I should make some more of these! Only... possibly not in pink!
