New Cousin

Mr Kit has a new tiny cousin!  Obviously we're both thrilled for the new parents and excited to meet the little one at some future point.  For now though, I made a baby gift to send to them.

I adore sleep sacks so I thought I'd run one up for Littley.  I used this tutorial, and I found it really well written.  Though, you know me, I did change things up a bit.

I wanted to jazz up my plain fleece a bit so I apliqued on a machine embroidery and I used a cotton bias binding rather than a fleece one.

 It closes with baby poppers and that's really all there is to say about it.  A nice easy sew for a lovely new addition to the family!
